In Taxås nature reserve there is a certain hill to reach. This hill overlooking Lake Möckeln is perfect for a picnic.
Taxås consists of deciduous forest and old agricultural landscape. Here you will also find rare flowers such as blue anemone, spring onion, golden powder, nunnery herb and spring pea. The northern trail (blue) passes a coffin near the barn. The trail then leads you further up to the viewpoint "Taxås klint", which rises thirty meters above the lake. To the right of the cliff there are stairs down to the shore where you will find both remains of ancient quarries and the old harbor. The southern arable land has previously been arable land and here is the second walking trail (orange). In the spring, the pastures shine white from the many and large hawk trees (hägg).

You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:
perform motor vehicles other than on the Sten-brohult-Taxås-Möckelsnäs road;
set up motor vehicles, caravan or trailer other than the designated parking lot;
3. tent,
4. moor or anchor houseboat,
5. ride other than on the existing route from the parking lot to Taxås clutch in the eastern border of the reserve;
6. bringing unconnected dog or other dissolving pets;
dig up, pick or break shrubs, rice, herbs, fungi, mosses or lichens,
8. climbing in the estate, or otherwise disturbing the wildlife;
9. affix the painting, sign, inscription, poster or comparable device;
10 Make fire,
collect insects or shells or other animals or their eggs, pockets or similar;
Destroy or damage solid natural objects or kill lying or standing dead trees
Other legislation for what can be done in forests and land also applies in the nature reserve.
