Please note that the P locations in the reserve have limited parking time. Different time limits apply in different parking areas. By public transit: The closest bus stop is Bergaholmsvägen road, about a 3 km walk. Take bus 708 from the Hallunda subway station or the Rönninge commuter rail station.

By car: From the E4/E20: exit at the Salem traffic junction ("Trafikplats Salem"). Take Salemsvägen road north to Bergaholmsvägen road. The entrance and parking lot for East Bergaholm is on the right.

To protect the Bornssjön nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve, it is prohibited to:

1. destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formation by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, painting or such Breaking twigs, traps or otherwise damaging live or dead trees and shrubs, damaging vegetation otherwise, for example by digging up rice, herbs, grass, mosses or lichens perform motorised vehicles (also snowmobiles) other than on designated roads • Deliberately disrupt the wildlife, for example by climbing the nests or in mountains near the settlements, catching or killing the mammals, birds, crawls and frogs
2. tent, set up caravan, trailer or similar more than two days in the same place. The purpose of the prohibition is not to restrict or complicate HVSS training activities. Departure from the prohibition may be permitted after consultation with the Nature Conservation Manager
3. ride other than on roads, paths and areas specifically designated
4. cycle in the terrain outside laid-off roads climbing mountains using ropes or similar activities
5. organise organised orientation competitions, orientation training, exercise races or similar activities without consultation with the conservation manager. For larger, organised activities (more than 100 participants) and the establishment/targeting and parking of the County Administrative Board engage in organised camp operations without consultation with the nature conservation manager organize rally competitions or similar activities without consultation with the Nature Conservation Manager Delaying or anchoring a boat longer than two days in the same place
6. set up signs, paintings, placards, posters or similar with the exception of information signs, including in the care and management of the area.

Please note that the Bornsjön with its surroundings also constitutes [water protection area](/stockholm/nature-and-country/activities-and-intervention-in-nature/water-protection area.html). According to the Water Protection Area (County Administrative Board Decision 2006-11-28), there is a ban on access to the water surface of the Born Sea all year round.
