Description

A hiking trail of 7 km with start and finish at Jössestugan, Rackstad. The trail goes across the heights Svarttjärnshöjden, Djupdalshöjden and Gallberget with nice views. The forest is mixed, stretching through pine and spruce populations but also some junipers. The trail crosses several forest streams. On some stretches the terrain is steep, but mostly relatively flat. The surface varies from needle covered paths, roots and rocks to short passages of duck boards. The path is well beaten and marked with orange on trees or signs. A map is available as a separate PDF.

There is normally mobile coverage throughout the trail.

Facts

Description for the direction of the counterseal
From the parking lot, it is a joint start for the three leads Gallbergsleden, Djupdalsleden and Sotar Blixtleden. After the first hill up past the cabin, the signage begins showing the road choice with signs.

The signs for Djupdalsleden show the direction of the counter sun and carry steadily towards the southeast through the mixed forest and cross a gravel road after about 1 km. The trail follows a log car road a few hundred meters in to a turning plan, then proceeding in the same direction into the southeast where it eventually crosses the pelvis from the Svarttjärnet. At the turning plan, markings are missing, but are seen again about 100 m in the path.

When the first soft ascent is secured, behind it you can obscure Rackstadbacken slalom plant and the heights away in the northwest.

Despite the fact that the three joints in the area are adjacent to each other, nature is slightly different from that of the two northern ranks. Along Djupdalsleden, the forest is a little sparseer, with more elements of single bushes and grass.

When the joint turns from the Deep Valley, short to the northeast and further back to the northwest, a noticeable ascent will rise up the Deep Valley Height. The view is rewarding at the top.

The trail continues up on the barrest along the mountain back among the pine and one. As the altitudes drop, some wet parties and streams come down. For this reason, boots are recommended, as the leaps do not cover entirely. Here are interesting mosses and flowers.

Djupdalsleden reconnects to Gallbergsleden about one km after Djupdalsöjden. The signage shows the northern joint route past the Hartjärnet. However, it is possible to get back via the sicksack-shaped (south-north-west-south stretch) joint (see map), but it is a shame to miss the fine view from the Gallberget and passage along the Hartjärnet. For more details, read the description of Gallbergsleden.
