Day trip for active nature enthusiasts (bus+hiking)|Karlskrona - Kristianopel - Bröms

Take the bus and go for a day trip through the historical environment of Kristianopel!

Traveling by bus is both a sustainable and social alternative. If you start the day adventure by bus, you have a better chance to make time and experience more of the unique nature that is found in Blekinge.

Bus from Karlskrona towards Kristianopel takes line 2 towards Jämjö with a change to line 121 towards Kristianopel. Alternative line 500 towards Kalmar and then change to line 121 towards Kristianopel. During the autumn and winter season the bus from Karlskrona departs twice a day on weekdays and on Saturdays the bus departs at 12:00 from Karlskrona central.

Hop on the bus in Karlskrona and then get off at the stop in Kristianopel and start the 10.2 km hiking adventure by following the orange marked trail that will take you through Blekingeleden and along ARK56.

Once in Kristianopel, you can take the opportunity to discover the historic village and the remains from the time when Kristianopel was a Danish city. For example, you can walk along the stone wall, visit the church from the 17th century and other small shops and stalls.

Before you continue the walk from Kristianopel, it is possible to stop for a coffee at Café Sött & Salt eller at Hamnkrogen by Kristianopel Resort. The hiking trail will then take you through unique sand dunes and tall tall trees in the nature reserve Högasand.

End the day trip when you reach the Peace Stone in Bröms and take the bus back to Karlskrona with line 500. The bus departs at 4 different times during the afternoon and evening.
