Nature reserve
A popular place for walks with broadleaf woodland and ancient monuments from the Bronze Age.
The area is dominated by deciduous trees and you will find ancient farmland, a cairn, a stone circle and rock carvings.
The forest covers low-lying hills that have largely been common land, from the shoreline and up to about 25 metres above sea level.
Ivy and perfoliate honeysuckle are common and climb high up into the trees in some places.
The rules for the nature reserve are shown in the link below, but, for example, dogs must be kept on a lead other than when hunting, and you are not allowed to drive a vehicle/ride a horse/ride a bike, pitch a tent/park a caravan/camper van or light a fire.

Prästamarken nature reserve is just over 20 kilometres outside Karlskrona town centre.
There are several well-used paths leading into the nature reserve from the areas of detached housing in the south-east part of Lyckeby and from older residential areas on the eastern side of the nature reserve. Take road 28 heading eastwards out of Karlskrona. After about 10 kilometres, join the E22 going east. Turn off to the right at Lösen to reach the nature reserve.
You can also take the E22 to Lösen and turn off towards Prästamarken.
You are welcome to visit Prästmarken, but please note that it is not permitted to:
damage land
Without permission from the County Administrative Board, you will not either
